Hey Hey Hey, I have updated the blog.

1. Valentine's Day event

Valentine's day is around the corner and we are having an event to raise funds for our club. It's the beginning of the year and our club is broke. :( Joking. Not that bad, but we need $$$$$ :) For this event, I have put in charge the "little BOD". They consist of those who came for the interview in becoming the club's BOD. It's like a test for them. I've included Thinesh, Yvonne and Jian Haw. Since they could not come for the interview and they have the potential, so, they are in too. For this event, you will receive email from them and not me anymore. So watch out and PLEASE reply. You don't know how frustrating is it when we don't get your reply on anything. Please be responsible okay? Thank you.

2. Project Tab

We're starting the project as early as possible in FEB after CNY! And I've assigned people to ask restaurants whether they are interested and get their name cards. To the new members, you do not have to worry about this part. Just come for the next meeting, and I will explain what is Project Tab :) Here are the list of people in charge of the restaurants:

3. Lunch Buffet

We will be having a lunch buffet before Valentine (13/2/2011) which is a Sunday. No transportation will be provided, as we will be going as friends and not under Circle K since no proposal will be submitted. The venue is at LOT 10, Shabu Shabu Steamboat. RM20 per person paid by yourself. Bring a small gift for games and as valentine's day present to your friends. Please confirm your attendance by 30th of January 2011. If you're staying at the hostel, maybe we can go together. :)

The price range from RM4 - RM6 only. :) Every present sold comes with a mystery certificate to award the lecturer. You can write your own message. :] We also provide delivery service to your favourite lecturer. An extra 50 cents will be charged for that. Hi everyone!

Yesterday (7 April 2010), DSA organized a Recruitment Drive! This gave the chance for all students of HELP to check out what are the clubs and societies that they could join!

And of course, Circle K would not miss this great opportunity to recruit new members and to promote what Circle K is all about!

The drive went well as freebies were given out to students. Not from us, but from DSA. There were snacks, drinks, free stationery and even shampoo from Sunsilk! How awesome is that?

Thanks to the freebies given by DSA, students managed to stick around to check out the clubs and societies!

I just received this email 10 minutes ago from Chris even though he received it last week. The Special Olympic Selangor is looking for volunteers to help them out in their event on this Saturday.

I would like to appeal to all of you to at least send 1 volunteer from each club for this noble course, especially CPIC, CDP, COS, Circle K and Rotaract Club.

The event is held at UKM Stadium, Bangi on this Saturday, 20/03/10 from 7:30am to 2:00pm. All volunteers are requested to wear white T-shirts for easy identification and a Letter of Appreciation will be given to each volunteer by the organizers.

Misusing the name of Circle K

Today Justine called me on my Phone to inform me that Boon Chin just bought a cake from someone claiming that they are from Circle K. I think there is a cake sale today at main block and someone has been using our club's name to promote their cakes. However, she don't recognise that person as she thought it was a new member in Circle K. Hopefully, this does not happen again. And let's look out for thigns like this. Allright?

This is not an issue anymore since we dont have any evidence, just look out and warn these people to stop misuing our name.

Circle K International is pleased to inform you that there will be a general meeting. Details of the meeting is as follows;

What's a Valentine's Day without couple games and some fun?

Circle K had organized a Valentine's Day event which was 'Cupid's Match'!

We had fun executing it and thank you so much to the participants and all who had made this event a memorable one :)

We had variety of games! It was actually like a treasure hunt! The participants were required to answer questions which required them to do a lot of tasks! Not only that, they even had to carry hardboiled eggs using body parts like cheeks and arms! It was really funny to see it happened!

We are glad that the event went well :)

Few weeks back, we congratulated Phoebe as our new President for CKI. Unfortunately, due to some reason, she need to be away with us for few months. Therefore, new leader is to be made, again. Congratulation to the new President (finally) and Treasurer! All the best to the new group! Of course, all the best to Phoebe too. It's really sad to not have you in the board. Nevermind, you still can go for it next time. Take your time, may we meet soon.

P/S:
Some advice from the "elderies":

There's a theory state that a group working as a TEAM has to go through at least 4 stages - forming, storming, norming, and performing. Argument and disagreement is always there. It dosn't mean those elements are not good. Try to work on it, find a way to cope with each other, then may find the way to success.

One of the CKI HELP norms is that even the positions held seemed to create superior-inferior relationship, it DOESN'T really applied when all wroking as a TEAM. All are equal in the board. Undeniable that each of us has our own perception on characteristics and responsibilities for learder and follower, but it doesn't mean it always applied in the board. Open your heart and accepting others is a hard skill, try to take that skill as you all move along.

Leaders are not born 100%, real life experience also included in the process of developing a great leader. Of course, there are plenty of theories about leadership in the market. No matter what theory you're taking, please remember that everyone is learning to become one too. Give people a chance, give yourself a chance too.

Sorry for a long winded "lecture". Just want to share some theory and practical experience learned these years.

As most of you all know, Circle K is combining their voices with Child Development Psychology Club (CDP) to perform in DSA Cultural night 2009. The event was held on the last Wednesday, 11.11.2009 in HELP Main Campus. Both of the clubs is performing a choir-like-style "Heal The World", sang by the past pop king - Micheal Jackson.

The main reason both of the club pick this song is because our culture is to save the children, to make a better place and a better world. We wish to spread the culture to all the public, please love our children! It is really sad and upset to listen news about child abuse, abandon children and so on that we can see from the newspaper everyday. Children is innocent ones in the world, they are yet to know the world they live in. We, elder adults shall protect them from harm and provide them a safe and trustworthy environment to grow. Without the young, and the old will dissappear soon; thus, no one is leading the future we live in now!

People, together lets HEAL THE WORLD!

Halo - Win is perfectly done!

It was an amazing experience of Halo-Win! Congrates to all the winners! We, Circle K International really appriciate all the effort made by all the parties to succeed this event! You've done a great job! All those hard work is priceless. The outcome of the event is more than what we have expected. Way to go people!

While preparing the event, it was like a fellowship event. Members have jokes around and most important thing gained was the spirit of helping out each other. Keep the spirit! Though there's a little bit messy on the event itself, god bless, it was successfully done. Lots of participants do enjoy this event! Thanks for your scream! The profit we gained will be the Chirstmas party for Rumah Charis's children soon in December. Anyone interested can join the Chirstmas party too! More information will post up soon.

Lastly, Circke K Internatioanl really appriciate and want to thank again everyone who help out this event. Stay tune with us for even more fun activities!

21.12.2008, Christmas with Shaddai

It's really a blessing Christmas for all of the Circle K members because it was so sweet and unforgetable. Though we met few unpredicted change in our plan, we still manage to fix it out and there we are - Christmas with Shaddai!

We have collected around RM600 from the "Wish Upon A Star" donation. Good job girls! We're really glad because the most important mission of this donation is reached! We've fulfilled all the child's wishes. Excellent!

We bought the kids KFC. It's Kids Favourite Chicken after all. As usual, we have some games we have some games with the kids and it works everytime! Lots of laughter and happiness. In short, we really glad that they do listen to our instructions and they showed us their pure lovely smiley faces. I'm sure that all of our tiredness are gone at that second.

Really appreciate everyone that contribute to this event and those who're willing to join this trip.

Christmas is all about spreading happiness!

What is WISH UPON A STAR all about?

WISH UPON A STAR is basically a chance for us to fulfill the orphans' wishes and give them the Christmas presents they want. Why? Because we, the Circle K'ers will be visiting the orphans on 20th December 2008 in order to celebrate Christmas with them.

Think about it. Who doesn't wants Christmas presents? LOL

If you do not know what to get the orphans, you could always donate some money and we will help you get the presents that they want. =)
OR
If you do have presents that you wanna give it to the orphans, you could always come to us and it is our pleasure to send the gifts to them. =)

Shaddai Visit 2

On 2nd November 2008, 9 Circle K members accompanied by the faculty advisor, Miss Debbie went to visit the Shaddai Shelter Home in Old Klang Road. This was the second time since our last visit to the home. We gathered at HELP main block at 9.30a.m and departed to the home at 10a.m by van. At 10.30a.m, we arrived at the destination. The main objective of this visitation was to find out what the orphanages wish for as Christmas is coming soon. We will do our best to fulfil all the wishes. Apart from that, we wanted to get each of the orphanage’s handprint for the banner as well.
We received a warm welcome by the person in charged – Mr. Anthony upon our arrival. We started off with some ice breaking games. The purpose of these games was to get to know the orphanage’s name as well as to introduce ourselves to them. We were surprised that some of the orphanages were very enthusiasm and active by getting involved in the games. We managed to take some pictures and videos during the activities.
Lunch was served at 12.30p.m. Everybody especially the orphanages were looking forward to have lunch. After satisfying our hunger, we continued with painting the banner. The banner will be hung up in HELP main block during the Christmas tree launch on 3rd November. We instructed the orphanages to wait for their turn to put their handprints on the banner. We helped them to paint their hand with different designs according to their choice of colours. Then, they would put their palm on the banner. All the Circle K members and Miss Debbie did the same as well.
Besides putting the handprints on the banner, we coloured the design of the banner as well. While some of the members were painting the banner, some would take charge of playing some games with the orphanages. With the cooperation of all the members and Miss Debbie, we managed to beautified and complete most parts of the banner.
After around four hours of visit, it is time for us to depart and head back to HELP. As a token of appreciation for accepting and welcoming us, some gifts were presented to the orphanages. We also took a group picture before leaving. In a nutshell, this visitation helped us realize that the little things we do can make a big different to others especially to the orphanages who need our love and support. We were also glad that all the orphanages had lots of fun with us. This visitation could be considered as a success and we planned to have another visitation in the future.

Updates on Blood Donation Drive

We had an Blood Donation Drive on 10th of September 2008 in Lower Foyer, HELP main campus from 10.00am till 4.00pm. It was a successful drive that we've actually collected 86 packets of blood which really near to our actual target - 100. Thanks to the commitment from the members. Hopefully we can continue to have more commitment from all the member in the future activities.

I am too busy.
Everybody is but then if thousands of people can spare half an hour of their time to help another, you too can surely spare the time.

You won’t want my blood because of the illness that I had.
You may be right, but have you checked if that is really the case?

I am too thin.
Maybe, but if you weigh over 45kg, you can give blood.

I have heard that blood donation can make me fat.
Come on, surely you can’t seriously believe such a tale. There’s no medical evidence to suggest this. In fact, studies shown that you can burn calories from donating blood.

Other people must be giving, so why me?
True, now more and more donors are needed every year. So every donor counts.

I don’t have any blood to spare.
We check your hemoglobin level to ensure that you have enough blood before we allow you to donate.

I am scared to give blood.
Who isn’t the first time but don’t you ever want to overcome this fear?

I’m too weak!
If you are healthy enough to be walking around now you can’t be too weak to donate. In any case the amount taken is replaced in a few hours time and so there’s no reason for anybody to feel weak.

Since no one in my family has ever used blood, why should I give?
The need for blood can arise in any family at anytime. If you help someone now others will rally around to help you when necessary.

I have give blood once before.
Very good, but many people donate as many as four times a year. If everybody gives twice a yea, we can meet our requirements.

My blood isn’t the right type.
You aren’t exclusive in this and all types are the right type.

Shaddai Shelter Home Visit

July 2oth Circle K@ HUC has made a visit to Shaddai Shelter Home at Old Klang Road to start off the service project.

Before this the club has ran a fund raiser to collect various goods such as clothes, milk powder, cereal and other food supply to aid the shelter. The name of the donation drive is Bean Sprout, Sprouting and helping children to grow.

We manage to collect quite a load of supply and we thank all the kind donors for supporting this noble cause.

A group of 8 members from CKI@HUC + 2 guests boarded bus while Ms. Debbie drove to the shelter.

Upon arrival, the first impression of the home is that the home is not any well furnished shelters or any well funded shelter as we can see the simple outlook and simple facilities in the compound.

There are around 15 kids in the shelter and many of them are still primary school children.

The team started the service by introduction and ice breaking through numerous games and activities

The service begin with an introduction and Kiwanian Eugene and his fellow friends camed and joined the service.

After that, we played a game called "Hot Potatoes" to start things off. The children began to feel used to us and awkwardness fades after lunch.

Lunch was prepared by the fellow members which consists of sandwich, finger food, jelly and fruits.

It was a simple yet satisfying lunch.

After lunch, we played more games and began bonding with the kids. I should say we did a good job and made a big smile on their faces.

This is the beginning of CKI@HUC and hope we can do greater things in the future.

Let's Help the Kids!

We planned for a visit to Shaddai Shelter Home in Old Klang on the 20th of July 2008. In the process of planning and preparation for the visit, we realize that Shaddai is not one of the well-to-do orphanages and recently, they were flooded. They are in dire need of food and beverages especially rice, milk, cereals and biscuits. Therefore, we have decided to organize a donation drive in order to collect food, clothes as well as funds to help them overcome this critical period.

The donation drive is themed The Bean Sprout – Allowing Love to Sprout, Helping Kids to Grow. As mentioned before, Shaddai is populated by school children. Hence, they need funds to support their education fees as well as their transportation fees. We specifically collect only rice, cereals, biscuits and milk, which has to be in powder form. We do not encourage canned food as the children are still in their crucial state of growth; therefore, they’ll need healthier food. As for clothes, preferably sizes of 14 years-olds and below.

On the 16th of July 2008, collection will start from 8.00am till 12.00noon at main block and the bus stop in front of KPD A.

This is a very significant event so we hope that those of you that are reading this post will contribute to the needy.

This is a real story written about a teenager named Melissa Riggio that living optimistically despite the fact that she has Down Syndrome.

When I first started to work on this story, I thought maybe I shouldn’t do it. I thought you might see that I have Down syndrome, and that you wouldn’t like me.

My mom thinks that’s silly. “Have you ever met anyone who didn’t like you because you have Down syndrome?” she asks me. She’s right, of course. (She usually is!)

When people ask me what Down syndrome is, I tell them it’s an extra chromosome. A doctor would tell you the extra chromosome causes an intellectual disability that makes it harder for me to learn things. (For instance, some of my classes are in a “resource room,” where kids with many kinds of learning disabilities are taught at a different pace.)

When my mom first told me I had Down syndrome, I worried that people might think I wasn’t as smart as they were, or that I talked or looked different.

I just want to be like everyone else, so sometimes I wish I could give back the extra chromosome. But having Down syndrome is what makes me “me.” And I’m proud of who I am. I’m a hard worker, a good person, and I care about my friends.

A Lot Like You

Even though I have Down syndrome, my life is a lot like yours. I read books and watch TV. I listen to music with my friends. I’m on the swim team and in chorus at school. I think about the future, like who I’ll marry. And I get along with my sisters—except when they take my CDs without asking!

Some of my classes are with typical kids, and some are with kids with learning disabilities. I have an aide who goes with me to my harder classes, like math and biology. She helps me take notes and gives me tips on how I should study for tests. It really helps, but I also challenge myself to do well. For instance, my goal was to be in a typical English class by 12th grade. That’s exactly what happened this year!

But sometimes it’s hard being with typical kids. For instance, I don’t drive, but a lot of kids in my school do. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to, and that’s hard to accept.

Dream Job: Singer

I try not to let things like that upset me and just think of all the good things in my life. Like that I’ve published two songs. One of my favorite things to do is write poetry, and this singer my dad knows recorded some of my poems as singles.

Right now someone else is singing my songs, but someday, I want to be the one singing. I know it’s going to happen, because I’ve seen it. One day I looked in the mirror, and I saw someone in my head, a famous person or someone who was somebody, and I just knew: I will be a singer.

It’s true that I don’t learn some things as fast as other people. But that won’t stop me from trying. I just know that if I work really hard and be myself, I can do almost anything.

See Me

But I still have to remind myself all the time that it really is OK to just be myself. Sometimes all I see—all I think other people see—is the outside of me, not the inside. And I really want people to go in there and see what I’m all about.

Maybe that’s why I write poetry—so people can find out who I really am. My poems are all about my feelings: when I hope, when I hurt. I’m not sure where the ideas come from—I just look them up in my head. It’s like I have this gut feeling that comes out of me and onto the paper.

I can’t change that I have Down syndrome, but one thing I would change is how people think of me. I’d tell them: Judge me as a whole person, not just the person you see. Treat me with respect, and accept me for who I am. Most important, just be my friend.

After all, I would do the same for you.

What is Down Syndrome?

Down syndrome is an intellectual disability that about 5,000 babies in the United States are born with each year. A person with Down syndrome has 47 chromosomes, microscopic structures that carry genetic information to determine almost everything about a person. Most people have only 46 chromosomes. It’s the extra chromosome that can cause certain physical characteristics (such as short stature and an upward slant to the eyes) and speech and developmental delays. Still, people with Down syndrome are a lot like you: They are unique people with strengths and talents.

Visit to Taman Sinar Harapan, Kuala Kubu Bharu

All these while, this is my feelings when I come across people like those but after this day

I pray that those who waste their life to do nothing and do not appreciate life to realize just how much they have in life.

9 of our members (inclusive of our faculty adviser) went on a visit to Taman Sinar Harapan at Kuala Kubu Bharu.

Members arrived right on time (8 a.m) at the pick up point. We journeyed to the Kiwanis Job Training Centre to pick up other members of Kiwanis and also fellow friends from the Aktion Club. It is not before long the quiet bus which only consist of 9 passengers was more than lively.

The journey to Kuala Kubu Bharu took approximately an hour and a half.

The journey to Taman Sinar Harapan cannot be described as a smooth journey since the roads are winding and bumpy. I really wonder how deep can the home located in Kuala Kubu Bharu at that moment.

Upon arrival, we unloaded our supply of adult diapers and some food from the bus and headed to the hall.

We were first briefed by the person in charge as of how the home operates and the different characteristic of the people who are living there and how they are taken care of.

Taman Sinar Harapan is a government sponsored home for people who suffered from mental and physical disability. According to the briefing, over 80% of the inmates are unable to make any movement and can only be lying on the bed.

Some inmates has to be tied up using cloth strips because they are suffering from hyper active and even try to hurt themselves. The attendants tried their best to shape obedience among them but failed to do so hence they have no alternatives but to tie them up.

The facilitator also mentioned that some of the inmates are still able to control themselves and allowed to move about around the center. However there are some who refuse to listen to instructions and acts beyond control so they have to either tie them up or restraint the area of movement in a dorm.

He also hope that we understand if we see or smell anything unpleasant since the inmates behavior is unpredictable and most of them are unable to control their bladder. The unfortunate part is, only 2 attendant is assigned to look after 30 or more inmates in a dorm. The attendants have my salute and respect for being such a saint. Bravo and please receive my deep bow..

After the briefing we headed of to the first dorm which is Asrama Teratai, inmates there are mostly children and as the briefing describes. Most of them are unable to even make a gesture to welcome or even a sign to acknowledge our presence. Only a few is able to stand up and say Hi to us.

The children are placed on a bed with high railings and some does not even have mattress to begin with. Noticing the kids condition and some even tied the a corner of the bed, solitude begins fill our hearts yet there is nothing much we can do but to smile and shake their hands.

Taking photos in the dorm is prohibited so there will be no photos of the inmates inside the dorm. I was able to take a shot of the food the inmates eats. It was basically a big lump of rice with fish meat mixed together. There is not a slight sense of appetizing but still.. they have no choice..

We then visited a place where some inmates who has talent and is still able to be shaped are placed. They do paintings with their feet and sell their postcards for a living and some are even capable of doing some small repairs for the wheel chair.

The next dorm is where some of the problematic inmates were placed, a kid who seems completely normal had his hands and legs tied to the bed to restraint his movement. He seems aggressive and tries to spit at anyone who tries to touch him. Believe me it was no pleasant view to see them suffer like that.

We were then brought to a dorm where adults was placed and immediately we can sense the unpleasant aroma but at the same time I wanted to know the condition of the inmates so the others and I stepped in. The are about the same as the children, even as a human of age they are incapable of speech or even movement; lying there side by side.

but what about them?
What did they do to deserve all these?

They do not have anyone waiting for them at the dinner table,
They don't have the power to even think " I want to be someone useful"

Do you still believe your life is far from happy or far from what you hoped?

Think again...

We left the place to Rawang's town for lunch with much ponder about..

Well it's time for lunch, we all cheered up. Who doesn't like food? Look at the wide smiles on their faces! :)

The faculty adviser Mr. Levin and me are the "waiter" for the meal to serve fellow members with rice and soup. The meal was a pleasant one with conversation and the food was enjoyable.

After meal, the bus headed for a small detour passing by the water dam. The view was pleasant but yet the lot decided to head back to KL.

Upon reaching the Kiwanis Job Training Centre, a taxi broke down so the bus was unable to move further. To practise the saying "Do a Good Deed Everyday", Mr Levin, two Aktion Club member and I went down to help push the taxi out of the way.

After that, it was a safe journey back to HELP.

Collegiate Ambassador for Peace is a project jointly organised by Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) and Pure Love True Family malaysia for World Peace (PLTF).

Background
The Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace (CAP) is a part of a global network of student leaders that cultivates true leadership in youth towards building a word of true peace. The objectives for this initiative are to provide our student and youth leaders’ continuous and consistent leadership skills enhancement based on the following three perspectives:
1. Encouraging national unity
2. Inculcating leaders of character
3. Promoting family values
4. Building the culture of service

Objectives
· To cultivate true leadership among student leaders and create awareness of their roles and moral responsibilities in nation building and for the harmony of the world.
· To develop a common understanding of the universal principles and core value that guides the works of youths in nation building.
· To cultivate understanding if national integration and establish enduring relationship among youths who are multi-races and multi-religious.
· To forge mutually-beneficial relationships among the students of the different colleges, university colleges and universities for future collaborations.

Circle K Orientation

Ola, members of CKI of HELP University College and visitors of this blog.

Last Saturday was our official orientation day for our club.

The objective of the club was to introduce the goal, aims and function of CKI to members clearly since the club is fairly new and we had new members.

We are glad and thankful that our sponsor club CKI Metro KL and our Parent club Kiwanis was able to send some representative as well as sending two speakers, Kiwanian Fred Lah as well as Kiwanian Adelaine Chan.

Members arrived early before 8.30 a.m to prepare the venue (LH 8)

Fellow Kiwanian and CKI Metro KL arrived approximately around 9.15 a.m

The orientation started off with an ice-breaking session by the traditional self introduction whereby members have to introduce them selves as well as telling fellow members their own uniqueness and why did they join the CKI in the first place. The next agenda would be a small game that is called "HAH". Faculty advisor Mr.Levin and all the guest was also invited to join this small game. However failure to perform a certain task required in the game would result to a small punishment! =P

After that, the orientation continues by Kiwanian Fred Lah's presentation. The presentation consist of info how should a CKI club be runned, history of CKI as well as some responsibilities of members and committees. It was a important presentation since it gives a clear explanation of what the club should expect.

Before continuing to the next agenda, we had another simple activity that requires members to write down the uniqueness presented earlier into a piece of paper then crumpled and thrown to a section of the venue. Members then have to pick a paper and identify the owner.

After a tiring session of going around and asking, the orientation continues with the presentation from Kiwanian Adelaine Chan. Her presentation mainly focus on What, When, Where, and Why questions of CKI. She inspired members with her speech on how Kiwanian and CKI had helped out in the past and what members can do in the future. She also presented on the advantage of joining CKI which mainly focus on building leadership in members as well as serving the community.

The orientation ended with a group photography session and also a souvenir presenting to the speakers.

The members then head to Pizza Hut for lunch sponsored by faculty advisor Mr.Levin.

Anyway let's start with the introduction of Circle K

Circle K International is a collegiate service organization with a worldwide membership that promotes fellowship, leadership, and service.

Although each Circle K club is sponsored by a Kiwanis club, college and university students govern the organization on all levels. A board of officers on the district level, and an International Board of Trustees comprise the leadership teams.

Our Mission
Developing college and university students into a global network of responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service.

Service Mission

Above all else, CKI is a service organization whose members are dedicated to improving their schools and communities. Virtually any unanswered need is a potential opportunity for Circle K commitment and dedication.

The CKI Service Initiative, Focusing on the Future: Children, was designed to involve all Circle K members in projects that address the problems and issues that face children worldwide, ages six-13. Through personal interaction and public awareness, Circle K members are enabling children to develop the skills and ideals necessary to be successful.

A little about the past

In 1936, the Kiwanis Club of Pullman, Washington, established “Circle K House” at Washington State College, which was rented to young men who needed assistance to attend college. For ten years the "Circle K House" became affiliated with a Greek letter organization, although it continued to be sponsored by the Pullman Kiwanis Club.

Eleven years later in 1947, Circle K transitioned from a fraternity to a service-oriented organization. That year, during September, the first Circle K club similar to our present day organization, was chartered at Carthage College in Carthage, Illinois.

In 1949, two more clubs were organized, including one in Canada, making Circle K international. There were 147 Circle K clubs in 1955, when Circle K was officially recognized as a sponsored organization of Kiwanis International.

Here at HELP University College our regular meeting time would be on every Wednesday from 12.30p.m to 2p.m. However the venue varies from time to time.
